Ukrainian Parliament speaker presents Vystrčil with medal

The speaker of the Ukrainian Parliament, Ruslan Stefanchuk, presented his country’s Order of Prince Yaroslav the Wise, second class, to Czech Senate speaker Miloš Vystrčil in Prague on Sunday evening. Mr. Stefanchuk said that the honour symbolised Ukraine’s gratitude for support in the fight against Russian aggression.

Ukrainian President Volodomyr Zelensky bestowed the distinction on Mr. Vystrčil and the speaker of the Czech lower house, Markéta Pekarová Adamová, for strengthening Ukrainian-Czech cooperation and supporting the state sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine.

Mr. Stefanchuk will present Ms. Pekarová Adamová with her medal on Monday.
