Covid epidemic slowing

The Czech Republic registered 5,522 new cases of Covid-19 on Tuesday, over 3,000 less than on the same day a week ago and the lowest daily increase since mid-December, according to data released by the Health Ministry.

The number of people hospitalized with Covid-19 has dropped to 5,709. The risk index is now at 54 points out of 100 and the reproduction number is 0.6.
