Governor of South Moravia claims general practitioners not allowed to inoculate against Covid-19

The government has temporarily banned vaccination against Covid-19 by general practitioners, according to the governor of the South Moravian region, Jan Grolich.

According to Grolich, Prime Minister Andrej Babiš said during a video conference with governors that he was counting on general practitioners only after vaccination centres have completed the vaccination of the priority group of medics and people over 80.

Grolich said the South Moravian region had devised a vaccination strategy for seniors based largely on cooperation with general practitioners.
