No easing of coronavirus measures until at least end of January, says health minister

An easing of coronavirus counter-measures is currently out of the question until at least the end of January, Health Minister Jan Blatný said on Monday. In fact, Mr. Blatný did not rule out the introduction of new restrictions as the coronavirus epidemic continues to ravage the country, leading to a severe burden on the health system. The final decision on how to proceed is set to be taken on Wednesday after the latest data on new infections is analysed.

The country currently finds itself in level five of the PES counter-epidemic system, which is the highest state of emergency.
