Daily Covid-19 increases in Czech Republic remain above 200

Daily increases in known Covid-19 cases in the Czech Republic this week continue to surpass 200, with 244 fresh cases registered on Wednesday. The total number of current cases stands at 5,232, which is the highest since the virus was first detected in this country on March 1. According to official Ministry of Health data a total of 17,529 cases of the coronavirus have been registered in the intervening period. There have been 388 deaths with Covid-19.
