ANO deputy Radek Vondráček elected chairman of lower house

ANO deputy Radek Vondráček has been elected chairman of the new lower house of parliament, the Czech News Agency reported on Wednesday.

Vondráček, who was nominated by the ANO party, was the only nominee for the post. In the secret ballot, he received backing from 135 MPs of 197 present.
