Insight Central Europe
Coming up in this week's edition of Insight Central Europe - amidst the heated debate over the post-war Benes Decrees and the millions of ethnic Germans who were expelled from the countries of Central Europe after World War Two, it's easy to forget that there are also many hundreds of thousands of Germans who remained in the region. We look at the German minority today in three Central European countries, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary and Poland. Also this week, a public funeral is held at Vienna's central cemetery for the child victims of the Nazi euthanasia clinic Am Spiegelgrund. And we look back at how Radio Free Europe influenced a generation of Poles living under the Communist regime. All that and more in this week's Insight Central Europe.
