Gerry Turner - a foreigner in communist Prague
Ian Willoughby's guest this week in One on One is an Englishman named Gerry Turner who was one of the few foreigners living in Prague in the 1970s. After leaving Czechoslovakia in 1980 he continued to visit the country, and helped those involved in the dissident movement. Gerry Turner now lives in Prague and is one of the foremost translators of Czech literature into English. Join him and Ian Willoughby for One on One this Monday.
