Liberec slay the mighty Lyon in UEFA Cup to get to quarter-finals
Slovan Liberec have taken another big scalp in the UEFA Cup - they beat Lyon 4:1 in the second leg on Thursday to win 5:2 on aggregate. It was a great victory for the Czech club, with three of their goals coming in the last fifteen minutes. The game was at home but it wasn't at home - it was held in Prague due to problems with the Liberec pitch. Liberec defender Petr Johana had this to say after the game.
Liberec now face compatriots Tomas Rosicky and Jan Koller's Borussia Dortmund in the quarter-finals. The first leg is at home on March 14 - the second leg is a week later.
