Motorists to file criminal complaint against Deník N, plan to nominate MPs for cabinet posts

The Motorists party will file a criminal complaint against Deník N over an article describing controversial remarks by honorary president Filip Turek, party chairman Petr Macinka said in a debate programme on Czech Television on Sunday.

Macinka also confirmed that if the Motorists nominate candidates for the emerging government with ANO and SPD, they will choose from among their elected MPs. ANO leader and likely future prime minister Andrej Babiš said on Saturday he would prefer the Motorists, like SPD, to nominate experts for cabinet posts.
