Minimum wage to be raised to CZK 16,200

The incoming government led by Prime Minister designate Petr Fiala will fulfill the outgoing government’s pledge to raise the minimum wage by CZK 1,000 to CZK 16,200 in January 2022, Czech Television reported on Saturday, citing the future government’s nominee for Labour Minister, Marian Jurečka.

Along with the minimum wage, the so-called guaranteed wage, which employees receive according to expertise or responsibility, will increase by roughly 6.5 percent.
