Majority of Czechs oppose Euro adoption, survey for Czech Radio shows
A recent NMS Market Research survey for Czech Radio reveals that 72% of Czechs oppose adopting the euro, with only 23% in favor. Support varies among political party supporters: 65% of Pirate Party voters back the euro, while approximately half of the voters for the governing Spolu ((Together) coalition and Mayors and Independents Party are supportive. In contrast, opposition party voters, including those from ANO Party and Freedom and Direct Democracy Party, predominantly reject the euro. This data highlights a significant divide in public opinion on euro adoption across different political affiliations in Czechia.
