Majority of Czech companies plan to invest in digitalization
More than half of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Czechia intend to invest in digitalization or automation over the next year, according to a new survey by the Association of of such enterprises. However, lack of financial resources remains the biggest barrier, especially for smaller firms. Around 40% of SMEs have already digitalized over half of their operations, but a quarter have digitized less than 25%. Employee reluctance and low motivation for upskilling are also challenges. Sustainability is a priority for most businesses, with one-third implementing energy- and emission-saving measures.
