Maděrová’s Olympic gold draws congratulations from politicians, Liberec and police
Politicians, state institutions and her home city of Liberec congratulated Czech snowboarder Zuzana Maděrová on winning Olympic gold in the parallel giant slalom. President Petr Pavel watched the race in Livigno and praised her performance on social media. Prime Minister Andrej Babiš (ANO) hailed the first medal for the Czech team at the Games, while former premier Petr Fiala (Civic Democratic Party) also thanked Ester Ledecká for her showing. Congratulations came as well from ministries, the Czech police and Liberec city officials.
