Live installation on Charles Bridge draws attention to Ukrainian soldiers in Russian captivity

A live installation called "Azovstal: A Year in Captivity" was held on Prague's Charles Bridge on Saturday. Organized by Hlas Ukrajiny (Voice of Ukraine) it paid tribute to the defenders of Mariupol, many of whom still remain in Russian captivity one year after the battle for the Azovstal steel plant. The chain of mainly young people dressed in black and bound together was intended to draw attention to the torture and harsh conditions endured by soldiers being held captive in Russia. Anastasiia Sihnaievska, co-founder of Hlas Ukrajiny, said the message to the world is that Ukrainians are not just fighting for their own country but for everyone."
