Lipavský: Putin rejects peace proposals, continues daily attacks

Russian President Vladimir Putin has so far rejected all peace proposals, opting instead to launch daily attacks on Ukraine, Czech Foreign Minister Jan Lipavský said. His comments follow Slovak Foreign Minister Juraj Blanár’s statement that Slovakia is ready to host peace talks on Ukraine. Senator Pavel Fischer warned against “neutral” postures after visits to Moscow, while opposition leader Karel Havlíček supported Slovakia’s involvement in peace efforts. Minister for European Affairs Martin Dvořák emphasized Ukraine’s role in negotiations, stressing the importance of avoiding a repeat of the Munich Agreement.
