Lipavský meets with local officials in Dnipro

Czech Foreign Minister Jan Lipavský (SPOLU) on Wednesday met with the head of the military administration of the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, Serhiy Lysak, and the chairman of the regional council, Mykola Lykashuk, in Dnipro, eastern Ukraine. For the first part of the meeting, they met in an air-raid shelter due to an alert.

Minister Lipavský informed the Ukrainian representatives, among other things, about Tuesday's meeting in Kyiv with Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha. He also emphasised the humanitarian efforts and other projects in the region that Czechia is focusing on. Before their meeting, the head of Czech diplomacy laid flowers at the monument to the victims of the Russian invasion. At about 8 AM (Czech time), sirens sounded and the delegations had to head to the shelter.
