Lipavský honours Ukraine’s fallen soldiers in Lviv during EU ministerial visit

Czech Foreign Minister Jan Lipavský joined his counterparts from across Europe in Lviv to pay tribute to Ukraine’s fallen defenders. As part of an informal meeting of EU foreign ministers, Mr. Lipavský visited Martha’s Field near Lychakiv cemetery—once a place for leisure, now filled with the graves of those killed in Russia’s ongoing aggression.

The minister stressed the symbolic power of the visit, contrasting it with the military parade held in Moscow. "While Putin shows off on Red Square, we are here to show unity and support for Ukraine," Mr. Lipavský said.
