Lehečka and Vondroušová exit Roland Garros in third round after defeats to top seeds

Czech players Jiří Lehečka and Markéta Vondroušová ended their Roland Garros campaigns in the third round after losing to higher-seeded opponents. Lehečka was overpowered by world number one Jannik Sinner in straight sets, winning just three games in a one-sided 0–6, 1–6, 2–6 match. Vondroušová started strong against American Jessica Pegula but couldn’t maintain her lead, falling 6–3, 4–6, 2–6. Despite the loss, she said she was pleased with her performance after a long injury break. Marie Bouzková remains the last Czech in the singles draw, set to face Coco Gauff.
