Key section of Prague Metro in the center to be closed over the weekend

The current closure on Prague Metro’s C line between Chodov and Muzeum will expand this weekend to Nádraží Holešovice. The shutdown, in place since last Saturday for signalling upgrades needed for future driverless trains, will now also allow installation of ceiling beams above Florenc station. Replacement buses XC will run the full route between Chodov and Nádraží Holešovice, alongside extended or reinforced regular bus services. A special tram line 36 will also operate from Zvonařka via the city centre to Kobylisy. Full metro service will resume across the C line on Monday.
