Jaromír Jágr suggests his hockey career may be over

Czech ice hockey legend Jaromír Jágr has suggested fans may not see him on the ice again. The 54-year-old forward made the comment during a live discussion on Instagram. Asked when supporters might see him play again, he replied that it would probably take “a miracle.”

Jágr has played six games this season for Kladno in the Czech Extraliga. His last appearance came on December 21st in a 4–1 defeat to Liberec.

Over his long career, Jágr became one of the most successful players in hockey history. In the NHL he played 1,733 regular-season games and collected 1,921 points, including 766 goals, making him the second-highest scorer in league history behind Wayne Gretzky.
