Iron Maiden mark 50th anniversary in Prague with classic anthems
British heavy metal legends Iron Maiden celebrated their 50th anniversary with a thunderous show at Prague’s Letňany airport on May 31, performing for an estimated crowd of 60,000. As part of their Run for your Lives tour, the band played songs from nine of their albums, including rarely performed tracks like Murders in the Rue Morgue and Phantom of the Opera. According to manager Rod Smallwood, many of these songs may never return to the live setlist. The night also featured support from American band Halestorm and concluded with fan favorites The Trooper and Fear of the Dark.
