Inflation rises to 1.7% in July

Consumer prices in Czechia rose 1.7 percent year-on-year in July, accelerating from 1.5 percent in June. Month-on-month, prices increased by 0.6 percent, according to data from the Czech Statistics Office (CSU).

Fuel prices pushed inflation higher, while food prices had the opposite effect.
