Inflatable bust of architect Bohuslav Fuchs unveiled at Špilberk Castle in Brno
An oversized inflatable bust of architect Bohuslav Fuchs was unveiled at Brno’s Špilberk Castle. Created by teachers from the Faculty of Architecture at Brno University of Technology, the sculpture will travel through the city until June, appearing near Fuchs-designed buildings. Marking 130 years since his birth, the project aims to highlight his legacy and impact on modern Brno. The lightweight balloon sculpture was produced in collaboration with Kubíček Factory, a local hot-air balloon manufacturer. A parallel exhibition at the Brno City Museum also showcases Fuchs’s interior design work and photography by his collaborator Rudolf Sandalo.
