Industry and Trade Ministry approves loan for energy companies EPH and Sev.en Energy
Minister of Industry and Trade Jozef Síkela has approved a loan for Daniel Křetinský’s energy company EPH, and Sev.en Energy group, owned by Pavel Tykač, with the aim is to increase their liquidity to cover the deposits needed for stock exchange trading.
The minister made the announcement on a debate programme on Czech Television on Sunday. However, he didn’t specify the amount of the loan.
Earlier this year, the government approved a loan of EU three billion (over CZK 74 billion) for the semi-state energy company ČEZ.
