Ice hockey Extraliga play-offs to begin this weekend

After 52 rounds, the first part of the ice hockey Extraliga ended on Tuesday night, and the top eight teams now go forward to the play-offs. The eight teams are Extraliga leaders Sparta Prague, Trinec, Zlin, Znojmo, Pardubice, Slavia Prague, Plzen and Vitkovice. The first play-off games take place on Saturday, with Sparta taking on Trinec and Zlin playing their south Moravian neighbours Znojmo.
