Hussite Church celebrates 100th anniversary of state recognition

Celebrations marking the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Czechoslovak Hussite Church get underway on Tuesday in Prague’s Dejvice neighbourhood.

The event was to take place on June 1 at the National House in Smíchov, where 100 years earlier Reform Catholics founded the new church. Due to Covid-19, it was postponed until September 15 – the date the Czechoslovak state officially recognized the church.
