Hungarian troops take on reconstruction in Afghanistan

Pannonia is the name the Romans gave to what is now western Hungary and now it's also the name of a military camp in the northern Afghan province of Baghlan where Hungarian troops recently took over from Dutch soldiers.

Hungarians now command the local Provincial Reconstruction Team of NATO's International Security Assistance Force, or ISAF. For a look at their work Sándor Laczkó of Radio Budapest spoke to colonel Gábor Böröndy of the Hungarian Defence Ministry.
