Hundreds of people attend anti-government demonstration in Prague

Hundreds of people gathered in the centre of Prague on Saturday afternoon to demonstrate against the current government. The participants started their protest on Wenceslas Square, then marched to the seat of the government.

Speakers demanded the resignation of the ruling coalition led by Prime Minister Petr Fiala and advised the participants not to vote for Petr Pavel in the second round of elections to the presidency.

The event was organised by the group “Czechia First”, which was behind a protest in Prague last September that was attended by about 70 000 people.
