Health Ministry wants to broaden mask wearing obligations among children
The Czech Health Ministry has proposed an amendment to the government order on compulsory mask and respirator wearing among children, the Czech News Agency reports. The proposal is set to be discussed by the government on Wednesday. If approved, the amendment would make it obligatory for children from the age of 6 to wear masks.
For now, the obligation is only for children who have already started going to school. The spokesman of the Health Ministry Ondřej Jakob said that the reason for the proposal is to extend mask wearing obligations also among Ukrainian refugee children in the country.
