Government fine-tuning Covid precautions for new school year
The government will hold a video session on Monday evening to finalize the details of a plan on how schools will operate in early September in light of the coronavirus pandemic. According to a framework agreement approved earlier, primary and secondary school students should undergo Covid testing three times at the start of the new school year. Teachers have been urged to limit joint classes and mass school events. Schools are also being advised not to hold theater performances and keep gym lessons outside as much as possible. According to Education Minister Robert Plaga face masks may remain compulsory in corridors or changing rooms for some time longer.
