Fuel prices in Czechia fall sharply ahead of Easter

Fuel prices in Czechia dropped significantly ahead of the Easter holiday. According to data from CCS - Czech Society for Payment Cards, the average price of gasoline fell by 59 hellers to 34.32 crowns per liter, the lowest level since early October 2021. Diesel saw an even sharper decline, dropping by 76 hellers to an average of 33.24 crowns per liter, the cheapest since July 2023. Prices have steadily declined since late January. The cheapest gasoline is in the Hradec Králové region, while diesel is least expensive in Ústí nad Labem. Prague remains the most expensive location for both fuels.
