Former EU commissioner Věra Jourová to become Vice-Rector of Charles University
Former EU commissioner Věra Jourová is to become Vice-Rector of Charles University. Her candidacy was approved by the Academic Senate of the school on Friday. She will be in charge of human resources development and new technologies. Jourová said during the Senate meeting that she will send her whole salary to the newly established Resilience Fund of the Charles University Foundation, created in response to last year's tragic shooting at the Faculty of Arts.
