Foreign Minister Lipavský discusses new areas of cooperation with South Korea
Foreign Minister Jan Lipavský on Tuesday wound up a three-day working visit to South Korea, one of Czechia’s largest trading partners. His talks with Prime Minister Han Duck-soo and Foreign Minister Cho Tae-yul focused on strategic communication and new opportunities for cooperation in nuclear energy, industry and research, in light of the fact that the South Korean company KHNP won a tender for the construction of two new units of the Dukovany nuclear power plant. South Korea is Czechia’s third largest trading partner outside of Europe and the fourth largest foreign investor in the Czech Republic.
