First quarter growth down on expectations

Figures released shortly after the elections showed that economic growth in the first quarter of this year had fallen to 2.5 percent - somewhat lower than expectations. Growth had levelled out at a steady 3.3 percent since 2000, after the Czech Republic emerged from recession in early 1999. So what's behind these disappointing figures?
