Finance minister Stanjura briefly hospitalized due to health issues

Czech Finance Minister and Civic Democratic Party (ODS) deputy leader Zbyněk Stanjura was briefly hospitalized on Friday after experiencing health problems, news site Novinky.cz reported. He received treatment and was later released, but returned for an IV drip on Saturday. According to Finance Ministry spokeswoman Michaela Lagronová, his condition is not serious. ODS spokesman Jakub Skyva said Stanjura adjusted his schedule from Friday to Monday for health reasons. Despite initially skipping a planned hike to Mount Radhošť as part of a pre-election event, he joined the group at the end. Stanjura leads the Spolu coalition’s campaign in the Moravian-Silesian Region.
