Fiala to meet Scholz in Berlin next week

The Czech prime minister, Petr Fiala, is due to meet his German counterpart, Olaf Scholz, in Berlin on Wednesday next week. It will be Mr. Fiala’s first visit to the German capital since he was installed late last year. He had been due to go in March but the trip was postponed in the wake of Russia’s attack on Ukraine.

This Tuesday the Czech foreign minister, Jan Lipavský, will meet his German counterpart, Annalena Baerbock, on the side-lines of a conference entitled Berlin Energy Transition Dialogue, the Czech ambassador to Germany told the Czech News Agency.
