EBRD lifts forecast for Czech growth to two percent

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) has raised its 2025 growth outlook for the Czech economy. It now expects GDP to expand by 2 percent, compared with the 1.6 percent projected in May. The bank had originally forecast a 2.5 percent increase last spring, but later downgraded its outlook several times. Despite the latest upward revision, the estimate still falls short of last year’s more optimistic projection.
