Downward trend in new Covid cases continues

The downward trend in new Covid cases continues. Laboratories in the Czech Republic registered 7,682 new cases on Wednesday, which is some 4,000 less than on the same day a week ago and the lowest daily increase since November 1. The number of people hospitalized with Covid is also dropping. On Wednesday there were 4,453 people requiring hospital care with Covid, of whom 800 are in a serious condition. The number of people hospitalized with Covid has dropped by 1,400 in the course of the past week.
