Death of terminally ill patient investigated in connection with Covid vaccine

The State Institute for Drug Control has reported the first death that may have been related to Covid-19 vaccination.

The deceased senior, who was vaccinated on January 9, was in the terminal stage of another disease. The institute will now investigate suspicions of a possible link.

The patient reportedly suffered the common side effects such as nausea, vomiting and fatigue which worsened his condition.

Although the institute did not say what vaccine the patient received, the only vaccine used at the time was that from Pfizer/ BioNTech.
