Davidová: Czech team’s performance in Beijing no disgrace

Czech biathlon competitor Markéta Davidová says she disagrees with criticism of the Czech team’s performance at the Winter Olympics in Beijing, where they took two medals. She said the Czechs’ showing was not a flop or disgrace, saying she did not like the fact it had been presented as such in the media.

Davidová, who finished fourth and sixth in her biathlon events, said she had given her all in Beijing.
