After spending much of my youth abroad I came back to Prague in my late teens to study at Charles University and I knew right away that this was the city I wanted to call home. Joining Radio Prague in 1986 was a lucky break. I was there to see the crowds welcoming Gorbi at Ruzyne Airport, I found myself reporting on the fall of the Iron Curtain and getting my first taste of adrenalin. Ever since, it has been an exciting road to tread. And when the generally fascinating world of politics becomes too much I balance it out with whacky human interest stories from the Czech Republic hoping to raise a smile somewhere on the other side of the globe.
