Czechs opening consular stations on Polish and Slovak borders with Ukraine

The Czech Republic will set up consular stations in Przemysl in Poland and Košice in Slovakia to help people entering those countries as they flee Ukraine. The Czech Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced the move on Tuesday. Staff from Czech diplomatic missions in Ukraine that have been evacuated will serve at the new agencies.

The ministry said that the aim was to help people on the front line. Tens of thousands of people have fled Ukraine since Russia attacked it on Thursday.
