Czechs in NHL shine but Bruins fall, Nečas scores winner

Czech players impressed across the NHL, though results were mixed. David Pastrňák had two assists and Pavel Zacha added a goal and an assist, but the Boston Bruins lost 6–5 in overtime to the Carolina Hurricanes. Pastrňák is one point short of 100 for the fourth straight season. Martin Nečas scored the winner for the Colorado Avalanche, while Adam Klapka had two assists in Calgary’s overtime loss.
