Czechs feel safest in four years, but health concerns persist

Czechs feel safer than at any point in the past four years, according to the latest Safety Index compiled by insurer ČSOB Pojišťovna and polling agency STEM/MARK. The index rose slightly to 54.1 points out of 100, based on a survey of 2,000 people. Respondents feel most secure about keeping their homes, while serious health complications and major financial losses remain their biggest concerns. Mental health is another significant issue, particularly among young people. Three in five respondents under 25 say psychological difficulties could lead them to consider leaving their jobs, compared with 45 percent of all adults surveyed.
