Czechia signs seven-year contract for Leopard 2A4 tanks
The Ministry of Defence today signed a contract for the maintenance of Leopard 2A4 tanks with the German company Rheinmetall Landsysteme. The framework agreement, worth 6.16 billion CZK (excluding VAT), is set for a duration of seven years. But the full amount may not be used, as it will depend on the actual needs of the army. The ministry announced the signing of the contract on its website on Tuesday. The government was already briefed on the contract in the second half of July.
