Czechia 25th among EU states in gender equality
Czechia is 25th among European Union states when it comes to ensuring equal opportunities and conditions for women and men, according to this year’s Gender Equality Index, put together by the European Institute for Gender Equality.
The country has fallen two places since 2020, receiving 57.9 points out of 100. The EU average is 70.9 points. The survey found that Czechia is particularly weak when it comes to women’s participation in decision making.
