I've embarked on a long-term journey of walking the historic roads of Czechia. I don't walk the trails in their entirety in one go. Instead, I walk along individual sections, usually 20 to 30 kilometers long, that follow each other. In this way, I have already walked from Prague to Rajhrad u Brna, covering more than 300 kilometers. Now I am making my way along the so-called Haberská stezka from the historic town of Čáslav towards Znojmo, near the southern border with Austria. This adventure is not only a great way to immerse myself in the past and present of various places across the country, but it also offers a unique perspective on our rich cultural heritage.

I've delved deeply into the subject, speaking with historians and experts who research ancient Czech trails. This has allowed me to produce two in-depth radio documentaries in Czech, capturing the essence of these historic paths. In this episode, I'm bringing you a shortened version of these documentaries in English, so you too can appreciate the fascinating stories and insights I've uncovered along the way.

So, lace up your walking shoes and join me as we journey through time and space on the historic roads of Czechia. Let's get started!
