Czech Trinity Bank cleared to buy Prague’s Riverside Karlín complex

The Czech competition authority has approved Trinity Bank’s acquisition of five office buildings in Prague’s Riverside Karlín complex from Austrian property company CA Immo. The authority did not disclose the value of the transaction. Czech news website Newstream previously reported that the deal was worth around 300 million euros, or roughly 7.3 billion crowns, which would make it one of the country’s largest property transactions in recent years. The acquisition involves companies that own and lease mainly office space, as well as some other commercial premises, within the Riverside Karlín complex.
