Czech state seeks increased capacity on Brussels flights over presidency

The Czech state is in talks with Brussels Airlines about increasing the number of flights between Prague and the Belgian capital, the Czech News Agency said. There are fears that capacity will be insufficient during the Czech Republic’s presidency of the European Union in the second half of this year.

The airline has already promised to use larger planes for selected flights, while more flights will be added from September. However, capacity problems may still occur, Czech officials said.
